Anthony Joseph Tassone, Jr., 62, of Titusville, NJ, entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Anthony was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Ewing High School.
Anthony was an entrepreneur who owned and operated Tassone Sons Lawn Service for 20 years.
Anthony was a member of the JB Sportsman's Club and Capital City Yacht Club.
Anthony had a deep passion for the outdoors, thriving on fishing, hunting, and particularly rabbit hunting with his black labs. His love for cooking shone through whether it was a holiday feast or a casual backyard pool gathering. His role as a chef was as much a part of his identity as his love for the outdoors. He cherished his nieces, nephews, and their children, endearingly known to some of them as, Caca. Additionally, he found joy in the company of the family dog, Luna.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Joseph Tassone, Sr. and Bertha (Bradley) Tassone; his brother, James "Jimmy" Tassone and his nephew, Anthony Joseph "AJ" Tassone, III. Anthony is survived by his sister, Patricia "Patti" (Tassone) Bruno; his sister-in-law, Isabelle Tassone; three nieces and nephews, Nicole and husband Brian Tulli, Sr., Richard Bruno and Veto J. Tassone and wife ToniAnn; ten great nieces and great nephews, Brian Tulli, Jr., Kaitlyn Tulli, Hailey Tulli, Angelo Bruno, William Wittkop, James, Mason, Peyton, Hudson, and Lucianna Tassone; as well as many other close family members and friends.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Clergy from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church will officiate over prayer services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ, where he will be laid to rest next to his nephew "AJ".
