Anthony "Tony" E. Trevean, age 50, of Stevens Point, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, on Friday, February 9, 2024. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
Tony was born on April 23, 1973, in Wisconsin Rapids to Rexford and Joyce (Smart) Trevean. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1991 and attended UW Stevens Point. He lived in the Wisconsin Rapids area until 2018 when he moved to Stevens Point.
Tony was a member of the National Honors Society and supported local libraries and indie bookstores. He was an avid science fiction enthusiast, collecting 100s of books and movies and was in the process of writing his own book. Along with his book and movie collection, he loved celebrating the holidays and decorating his apartment with his gnome collection. Tony loved cats, especially his cat, Trouble.
Tony is survived by his siblings, Linda Winters, Robert (Patty) Trevean, Cheryl (Stanley) Kuhn, Ronald Trevean, and Doug Trevean; nieces and nephews, Jason, David, Cathy, Joey, Josette, Stefanie, Christine, and AJ; and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Trevean; and sisters, Echo and Dawn Trevean.
