Antoinette "Toni" Murphy

Antoinette F. "Toni" Murphy (Rizzi) of Endicott NY died unexpectedly, after a brief illness, on July 9, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones, at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, New York at the age of 82. Toni is predeceased by her husband Joseph P. Murphy, her parents John & Ida (Settipane) Rizzi, and her in-laws Michael J. & Helen Murphy. Toni is survived by Her Children: Michelle & Phil Cook, Mike & Stephanie Murphy, Johny Neil Murphy, Joanne & Lonnie Enders. Her Grandchildren: Anastasia & Kyle Nelson, Joey & Jackie Murphy, Gabby Horton, Mallory & Devin McCallum, Nora Murphy, Emily Enders, Madeline Cook, CJ Enders (Mady), Marrissa Murphy (Matt), Michaela Murphy, McKenna Murphy, and Johnny Murphy. Her Great Grandchildren: Sophia, Bella, Mike, Natalie, Addie, Malikai, Davis, & Colin. Her Sister and Brother-in-Law, Vinnie & Bob Murphy, and their children- Kelli, Koleen, & Bob Jr. a.k.a Korky. Her Sisters-in-Law: Ann Davis and Mary-Lou Murphy, and her Dear Friends: Marcia Rossi and Nick & Florence Rossi.Toni is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and others whose lives she has touched throughout the years. Toni Murphy was born on July 22, 1939 in Endicott, New York to John and Ida Rizzi. She graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 1957.Toni married Joe Murphy in 1960.Toni was a hard-working and dedicated professional at the bank, leading her to retire three separate times. Toni will be remembered as loving, generous, kind, and patient. Toni was a strong woman of faith. She was a dedicated member of her church Our Lady of Good Counsel and participant in Community Bible Study. Toni was also an active member of her community, a member of the American Business Women's Association, and volunteer for the Tioga Chamber of Commerce, and A New Hope Center in Owego, NY.
