Antonio Perez Cruz, a beloved companion, devoted father, and cherished friend, passed away on August 3, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be remembered. Born on May 3, 1984, in Guatemala, he leaves behind a profound impact on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.   Antonio will be missed by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Senaida Cruz and brother, Moises Arevalo. Left behind to cherish his memory are his father, David Perez; son, John David Gama; twin son and daughter, Miguel, and Maria Gama; two stepdaughters, Allison, and Genesis; brothers Freddy Cruz and David Perez; sisters, Maria Arevalo, Senaida Perez and Veronica Perez. Antonio's life touched the hearts of many nieces, nephews, co-workers, as well as close friends and family.   Described as a loving and caring father, Antonio's greatest joy in life came from spending quality time with his family and children. Together, they created beautiful memories and treasured moments that will be forever etched in their hearts. One of Antonio's passions was traveling. He loved exploring new places alongside his beloved companion Conception.Their adventures allowed them to see the world through a different lens while deepening their bond. Whether it was exploring vibrant cities or relaxing on serene beaches, Antonio and Conception found solace in the beauty of their surroundings and the presence of each other.   Antonio dedicated 16 years of his life as a metal worker at Complete Building Services under the guidance of David Hartwick. Throughout his tenure, Antonio displayed exceptional talent and commitment, ultimately rising to the position of Foreman.   Beyond the workplace, he found joy in breathing new life into old cars. His talent extended beyond cars as he fearlessly took on remodeling houses. Additionally, Antonio took pride in keeping up with the maintenance of everyone's lawns, demonstrating his care for both people and their surroundings. There seemed to be no limit to what he could build or achieve.   Services to remember and honor Antonio's life will be held as follows: visitation on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Benton Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Greater Grace Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. Following the service, Antonio will be laid to rest at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton at 1:00 PM. In honoring Antonio's memory and celebrating his life, let us remember the impact he had on our lives. May he rest in peace knowing that he has left an indelible mark on the world around him.


Antonio Pérez Cruz, un amado compañero de hogar, un padre devoto y un querido amigo, falleció el 3 de agosto de 2023, dejando un legado de amor y compasión que será recordado para siempre. Nacido el 3 de mayo de 1984, Antonio llevó una vida llena de aventuras, alegría y una inquebrantable devoción por su familia.

Antonio será extrañado por sus seres queridos. Le precedieron en la muerte su madre; Senaida Cruz y su  hermano, Moisés Arévalo; que en paz descanse. Atrás quedaron para atesorar su memoria su compañera de hogar, Concepción Corrales; padre, David Pérez; hijos, John David Gama y Miguel Gama; hijas, María Gama y Kayla Pérez; incluyendo a Allison y Génesis; los hermanos Freddy Cruz y David Pérez; hermanas, Maria Arevalo, Senaida Pérez y Verónica Pérez. La vida de Antonio tocó los corazones de muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, tíos, tías, compañeros de trabajo, así como amigos cercanos y familiares.

Descrito como un padre amoroso y afectuoso, la mayor alegría de la vida de Antonio procedía de pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia. Juntos, crearon hermosos recuerdos y momentos atesorados que quedarán grabados para siempre en sus corazones. Una de las pasiones de Antonio era viajar. Le encantaba explorar nuevos lugares junto a su compañera de hogar y sus hijas. Sus aventuras les permitieron ver el mundo a través de una vista diferente mientras profundizaban su vínculo. Ya sea explorando ciudades vibrantes o relajándose en playas serenas, Antonio y Conception encontraron consuelo en la belleza de su entorno y la presencia mutua.

Antonio dedicó 16 años de su vida como trabajador metalúrgico en Complete Building Services bajo la dirección de David Hartwick. A lo largo de su mandato, Antonio mostró un talento y un compromiso excepcionales, y finalmente ascendió al puesto de capataz.

Más allá del lugar de trabajo, encontró alegría trabajando con lámina al igual que en darle nueva vida a los autos viejos. Su talento se extendió más allá de los autos cuando asumió sin temor la remodelación de casas. Además, Antonio se enorgullecía de mantenerse al día con el mantenimiento del césped de todos, demostrando su preocupación por las personas y su entorno. No parecía haber límite para lo que podía construir o lograr.

Los servicios para recordar y honrar la vida de Antonio se llevarán a cabo de la siguiente manera: velorio el viernes 11 de agosto de 2023, de 5:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. en Smith Benton Funeral Home. El funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 12 de agosto de 2023 a las 10:00 a. m. en la Iglesia Bautista Greater Grace en Little Rock, Arkansas. Después del servicio, Antonio descansará en el cementerio de Rosemont en Benton a la 1:00 p. m.
