Antonio Polverini Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roseboro Stradling Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. - Denver on Jan. 19, 2026.
Antonio G. Polverini, 58, of Adamstown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital.

He was born in West Chester, son of Maria (Fersini) and the late Giuseppe Polverini and was the husband of Judith "Judy" (Meckley) Polverini, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage.

Anthony was a husband, father to five children, and a proud grandfather-known affectionately as "Pop" to eight grandchildren, with many more to come whom he would have loved immensely. At 58, he leaves behind a legacy rooted in family, faith, and connection.

A first-generation American born into an Italian family, Anthony spoke fluent Italian and carried his heritage with pride, most notably through his passion for cooking and indulging in Italian food with those he loved. By trade, he was a skilled carpenter with a natural talent for mechanics and woodworking, always finding joy in building, fixing, and tinkering. Anthony embraced life fully. A true coffee enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and listening to podcasts, often pairing these moments with thoughtful, meaningful conversations about healthcare, religion, and the world around him, always with a Padron cigar nearby. He was known for his well-formed political views and his genuine curiosity about people and ideas. A lover of motorcycles, family mountain trips to Raystown Lake, and hunting trips with his son, Anthony cherished time spent outdoors.

Anthony deeply loved his family and entire extended family, holding each relationship close to his heart. He found his greatest joy simply being together laughing, talking, and creating memories with those he cared for most. Anthony was a source of wisdom and warmth to many. He is so very loved and will be profoundly missed, though his family finds comfort and solace in knowing that through the Gift of Life organ donation program, he will live on through others.

In addition to his mother and wife, Antonio is survived by 5 children, Kaitlyn B., wife of Gregory Cavallo, Jr., Antonio G, Polverini, II and partner, Marley Douglas, Victoria G. Polverini and partner, Michael Dean, Jacqueline M. Polverini, Olivia T. Polverini and partner, Brendan Boyko; 8 grandchildren, Carson Krick, AJ Polverini, Mila Cavallo, Vivienne Kirchner, Sienna Cavallo, Elliott Polverini, Leo Polverini, Luca Cavallo; 3 siblings, Giuseppe M. Polverini, sister, Maria Goodine, wife of David, brother, Vincenzo Polverini, husband of Candace.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Grace Meckley, and beloved cat, Puss-Puss.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebration at 12:00 PM, with Fr. Paul Borowski, C.Ss.R. as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will take place, immediately following the service, in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
