April Michele Jones, affectionately known as 4 Real Do3 passed away Saturday November 1, 2025 at the age 44. April was born April 8,1981 to the late Shona Brand and Ivery Jones in Lansing,MI.
April was extremely talented and well-loved. She was a member of the J.W Sexton High School’s girls basketball team until she graduated. She owned and operated 4 Real Do3 Customs where she specialized in customizing shoes and apparel.
April was a trendsetter in her own right and possessed a love for shoes, fashionable eyewear, and standing out in a crowd. April epitomized being one of a kind. She could be found bowling with her loved ones throughout the week in various leagues. April was an energetic dancer who taught all who wanted to learn dance moves. April was a founding member of Distinguished Elegance Social Club-Phantom Support Club and at the time of her passing was the Vice President.
Of the many things April was passionate about her love for her family was one that shined the brightest. April married her wife, Tamela Jones in 2024.
April was preceded in death by her parents; Shona Brand and Ivery Jones, maternal grandparents; Ira Brand and Glenna Brand. And daughter Tre’Sea Berry.
April leaves to cherish her memory, her loving wife Tamela Jones of Lansing, MI; children; Justyce Spivey of Murfreesboro,TN, DeVonte Berry of Lansing,MI, Tyler Berry of New Mexico, and Taylor Berry of Little Rock, AR: siblings; Ivery (Amber) Jones of Indianapolis, IN, and Arashon (Charles) Burnett of Lansing,MI; grandchildren Jordan Spivey, Jazz Spivey, KaLeyiah Berry, and Sa’Yori Berry; godchildren; Jasmine, Mosiah, and DaNyla; special uncle, Ryan Brand; bonus family, Cheirie Watts, O’Tia Jenkins, Chad Watts, Petria Walker, Ranjean Larkins, Shamiya Burtley, Natosha Harris, and Tekosha Perkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family members, bowling league colleagues, and club world family.
