April Conley Rollins began life's journey on Sunday, April 13, 1985, in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was the last of four children born to Rosa Ledet and Tilton Conley I. April, 39, a resident of Youngsville, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly in Broussard, Louisiana on Sunday, April 14, 2024.
April attended schools in Iberia Parish that included: Delcambre Elementary and Delcambre High School and was a 2003 graduate of Westgate Senior High in New Iberia.
She was currently employed at the Professional Arts Pharmacy where she worked as a Patient Care Coordinator. April always had the uncanny ability to make anyone smile and was always fun to be around. She was a great mom who worked hard to provide for her boys and was their biggest cheerleader especially when they played basketball. April loved crawfish and it was never spicy enough for her!
Her memory will be forever cherished by her three sons, Jayce Tolivar, Jaydon "Bubba" Tolivar and Maize Rollins; her mother, Rosa Ledet and her father Tilton Conley I; two sisters, LaTanya Cooks and Shamera Sonnier; one brother, Tilton "Supah" Conley II; one brother-in-law, James Cooks, Jr. and one sister-in-law,
Lauren Conley (LP); five nephews, Malik Sonnier, Mylo Sonnier, Devante
January, Jaylon Cooks and Yazi Conley; five nieces, Erin Cooks, Aria Conley, Ja'Shonae Cooks, Desire Sonnier and Sharee Sonnier; one great-niece, Oakleigh Johnnie and one great-nephew, Kai January; ten god-children, Jaycianna, Erin, Taco, Raegon, Mason, Aria, Mia, Torel, Kenleigh and Korbin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
April now rests in sweet peace with her maternal grandparents, George and Mazie Ledet and her paternal grandparents, Miller II and Elsie Mae Conley and a brother-in-law, Marcus "Dino" Sonnier.
The viewing will be held at Progressive Church from 9-11:00 AM. The service will start at 11:00 AM. Repass will follow after the burial, at the Progressive Baptist Community Center.
