A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 am at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA for Brandon Emile Desormeaux, 42, who passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Visitation will be observed at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will resume on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of service. Reverend Derald Weber, of The Pentecostals of Lafayette, will officiate. Brandon Emile Desormeaux, was born December 18, 1982, in New Iberia, LA and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. He graduated from Delcambre High School in Delcambre, LA. After high school, Brandon attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, LA. Brandon worked as a dispatcher for Diligent Delivery Systems. He poured his heart and soul into everything he did. Brandon was known affectionately as a big teddy bear. He never met a stranger and was determined to make everyone smile. Brandon was a member of The Pentecostals of Lafayette for over 20 years. Brandon most enjoyed spending time with family. He devoted his life to taking care of his mother. Known as Uncle B, Brandon spent as much time as possible with his niece and nephews. Family meant everything to Brandon, and he leaves a legacy of love and will be deeply missed. Brandon is survived by his mother Sheila Maricle Desormeaux, of Scott, LA; his brother, Aaron Desormeaux, of Goodspring, TN; his sister, Jamie Wiltz and her husband, Charles, Jr., of Lafayette, LA; his niece, Bailey Desormeaux; his three nephews, Christopher Desormeaux, Collin Wiltz and Ethan Wiltz and numerous dear family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David Dean Desormeaux; his paternal grandparents, Emile and Lucy Desormeaux and his maternal grandparents, Shirley and Lottie Maricle.
