Ardena Carey Borgeson

Ardena Borgeson, 87, of Tunkhannock passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert Borgeson in 2003.

Born on February 26, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, she is the daughter of the late Dorothy Mosier.

Ardena had a fulfilling career as a bus driver for the Tunkhannock Area School District while also contributing her talents in the central receiving department.

She cherished the moments spent with her loved ones, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment. She enjoyed sewing and baking in her free time, sharing her creations with loved ones.

Additionally, she was a proud and active member of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by daughter-in-law, Karen Borgeson; grandchildren, Brett, Colt, Storm Borgeson; 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by son, Jeffrey Borgeson.

A funeral service will be held at a later date.

Interment was held in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
