BRIDGEWATER – Arlene F. Buck, 61, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 22, 1964, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Ashley and Doris (Delong) Hallett.
Arlene dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant before becoming a receptionist at Northern Light AR Gould Hospital, where her kindness and compassion touched countless lives. Her gentle smile and caring spirit made her a friend to everyone she met.
Family was the center of Arlene's world. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories filled with love and laughter. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend-someone who gave her heart freely and made everyone around her feel loved and valued.
Arlene is survived by her husband of 11 years and lifelong best friend Mike Buck of Mapleton her beloved children, Michael Buck and his wife Jessica of Chapman, and Lindsay Buck of Mars Hill; four cherished granddaughters, Katelyn Buck, Sage Graham, Emma Graham, and Leylah "Bug" Graham; and her precious great-granddaughter, Haven Moro. She also leaves behind two brothers, Stewart Hallett of Westfield and Troy Hallett of Bridgewater; two special nephews, Shawn Anderson of Weare, NH, and Kyle Anderson of Allenstown, NH; along with many dear friends who were like family to her.
