Arlene Jakobe Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
(Ruder) Dechant, passed away peacefully at her daughter's house under the loving care of
hospice. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister.
Arlene is survived by her sons, Mark Jakobe and Scott Jakobe, and her daughter, Melissa
Towne (Dennis), all of Warrensburg, MO. She also leaves behind six granddaughters,
four great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and her sister, Carol Dechant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert George Jakobe Jr., and her parents.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church. A visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass. A
graveside service will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arlene Jakobe Memorial
Fund, with checks payable to Melissa Towne.
