Arlene Jean Sands, age 84 of Carnegie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Beloved wife of Joseph George Sands Jr. for 54 years. Mother of Joseph Sands III and Megan (Mark) Hagelauer. Preceded in death by her mother Anne Ingram. and sister Frances Ingram.
Arlene was a homemaker and worked for over 20 years at the Allegheny County Health Department.
Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the Pirates and attending games, was an avid lover of movies and music, going to the theater and taking trips to New York City to attend live Broadway shows.
"The way I see it, if something makes you sad when it ends, it must have been pretty wonderful when it was happening."
