Arlene C. Sesing, 96, of St. Francis Terrace, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Hospice Home of Hope.
She was born in Fond du Lac on August 8, 1925 to the late Arnold and Lucy Gindt Dunisch. On Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1946 she married Walter R. Sesing at St. Mary Catholic Church, Fond du Lac.
Arlene is survived by six children, two sons, Mark (Anne) Sesing and Joel (Linda) Sesing, four daughters, Theresa Buck, Maria (Norbert) Fricker-Stachowski, Anne (Douglas) Kissinger and Carla (Anthony) Rieder, twenty-four grandchildren, Joseph (Song), Micah (Katy), Sarah (Chad), Leah, Benjamin (Kourtney), Zachary and Hannah Buck, Luke (Ania) Fricker, Max (Jennifer), Margaret (Jamie) and Noah (Kristin) Sesing, Samantha (Alex) and Alexander (Cassandra) Sesing, Nicholas and Samuel (Sarah) Sesing, Charlotte, Herschel, Lucia (Chris) and Oliver Kissinger, Reuben (Julia), Olivia, Emma, Gracie and Agatha Rieder and 19 great grandchildren.
She is further survived by a sister, Janet Kroll and a brother David (Janice) Dunisch, also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and two sons, Michael Sesing and Jude Sesing.
Arlene was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was strong in faith and family. She will be dearly missed and celebrated for her life full of love.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Home Chapel. Arlene will be laid to rest next to her husband and sons in St. Charles Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be directed to St. Francis Home or SSM Health Hospice Hope Program.
The family extends deep appreciation to the nurses, aides and volunteers of St. Francis Terrace and Hospice Home of Hope.
