Mishler Funeral Home - BremenArlene Marie (Crowe) Siefer, 67, of Bremen, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 5:50 p.m.
Born on April 29, 1958, in Goshen, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Mary E. (Slabaugh) Crowe.
Arlene worked for many years as secretary at First United Church of Christ in Bremen, where she also served as the church pianist. Music was an important part of her life, and she especially enjoyed her years playing with the Sentimental Journeys Band.
She is survived by her children, Adam (Alyssa) Siefer of Bremen and Amy (Jordan) Sinclair of Bremen; five grandchildren, Lily, Luke, and Levi Siefer, and Ellen and Owen Sinclair; her brother, John (Sandy) Crowe of Wheaton, Illinois; and her longtime companion of nearly 25 years, Tom Rentschler of Fulton, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several extended family members.
Arlene found her greatest joy in simple pleasures—spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying music, and sharing life with those closest to her. She will be remembered for her steady presence, her love of family, and the many tunes she left behind on the piano keys.
Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, with a short memorial service to follow.
