Arlene Sindlinger Obituary
Lake City - Arlene Frances (Sulkowski) Sindlinger, born to Ernest and Elsie (Witt) Sulkowski on July 14, 1936, in Northville, Michigan died on June 14, 2024, at her home in Lake City, Michigan under the loving care of her family and friends.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Victor Sorg Sindlinger; her parents; sister, Marion Geer; and son-in-law, Paul Broering.
She leaves behind her sisters, Alberta Hoseney and Val Rae Schmidt; children, Douglas Sindlinger II, Yvonne Beerens, Tina Broering, Dennis Sindlinger, and special friend, Colleen Lueck. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Tiffany (Steven) Robbins, Shannon Osgood, and Weston Sindlinger; step grandchildren Paul (Christina) Broering and Gary (Jennifer) Broering; as well as 3 great-grandchildren and 6 great-step-grandchildren; 4 great, great step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Arlene loved Christmas, angels, birds, and ducks and had a vast collection of each. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed trips to Frankenmuth.
There will be no formal memorial service as it was Arlene's wish. Cremation has taken place upon her request. A private, graveside memorial service will take place. Family and friends will gather for a picnic at a later date to remember Arlene.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org
