Arline R. Restivo

Arline R. Restivo, 87, of Lakewood, passed away Wednesday July 9, 2025, in the Warren Manor, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 15, 1937, in Buffalo, NY to the late Otto and Ruth (Griesbaum) Niklas.
Arline was a graduate of JCC School of Nursing. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a Registered Nurse by the Jamestown General Hospital and later by the Southwestern Public Schools as the Middle School Nurse.
She was a member of both the St. John and Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Churches. Her other memberships included Creche for Kids, The Lakewood Women's Club, The Lakewood Rod & Gun Club and the Moonbrook Country Club, where she enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing bridge. Additionally, she was a generous supporter of the Chautauqua County Humane Society, the Lakewood Library, the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Parkinson Foundation
Surviving are her three children, Susan (Daniel) Moran, Kelly (Christopher) Pugliese and James (Janene) Bockrath; 7 grandchildren, Niklas Moran, Danielle (Christian) Gaddis, Carly (Noah) Ryan, Gabrielle Pugliese, Stephen Pugliese, Lincoln Bockrath, Grayson Bockrath; 2 great grandchildren, Madilyn Moran, Ruth Ryan; and 3 siblings, James (Kathy) Niklas, Michael (Becky) Niklas, and Beverly (James) Gostomski.
Besides her parents, Otto and Ruth Niklas, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carole Savarise (2021); her Godson, Mark Savarise (2024); her brother-in-law, Alan Bockrath (2020); her sister-in-law, Diane Bockrath (2025); her first husband, Kenneth Bockrath (1994); and her second husband, Salvatore (Sam) Restivo (2009).
The funeral will be at 11am Monday, July 14, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10-11am Monday at Lind's. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, and a luncheon will then follow.
