Arnold “Butch” Brady, Jr.
June 23, 1956 – October 13, 2025
Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Arnold “Butch” Brady, Jr. of Bedford, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025, at the age of 69.
Butch was born on June 23, 1956, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to the late Arnold Brady, Sr. and Virgie (Etchinson) Brady. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Brady.
He is survived by his wife, Dorinda Brady, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage; his son, Brian Brady and wife Nikki of Huntsville, Texas; and his cherished granddaughter, Zoe Brady. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Butch had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing or enjoying time outside. His family was his world—especially his granddaughter Zoe, who had him wrapped around her finger. He was an avid fan of OU football and the Dallas Mavericks and rarely missed a game.
A skilled engineering technician, Butch had a knack for fixing just about anything and took pride in working with his hands. Every morning started with his favorite mini bottle of Coke. His love of music—especially rock—was something he shared closely with his son, Brian.
Above all, Butch bravely beat colon cancer at the age of 48, a testament to his strength and spirit.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the strength he brought to every part of his life.
