Arthur L. Busch, Jr., age 78, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at his residence.
Arthur was born on September 7, 1946, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Arthur Busch, Sr., and Arline (Herndon) Busch.
Arthur was a 1964 graduate of Linn High School, and he later attended MU in Columbia and Linn Technical College in Linn. He proudly served his country in the United State Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was employed at McDonald-Douglas in St. Louis, United Telephone Company as a repairman and installer and in 1984, he became employed with the Missouri Department of Health, Division of Community and Public Health, where he worked for 25 years until his retirement.
Arthur enjoyed listening to music, riding motorcycles, working on antique cars, and just being outdoors. He had a passion for taking care of the environment and nature.
Arthur is survived by a brother, Aaron Busch of Hermann; three sisters, Audrey Prince of Maryland Hights, Aneta Johnson of Chamois, and Arleta Shell and her husband Dennis of O’Fallon; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.
Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Oklahoma Church of Christ Cemetery near Chamois.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
