Arthur "Ike" Dickson, age 98 years, 8 months, and 17 days of Cave Creek, AZ and formerly of Lancaster, OH passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2025, at his daughter's home in Cave Creek, AZ. He was born December 31, 1926, in Lancaster, to Ray and Clara (Moody) Dickson. He served in the Army and Air Force in World War II and Korea. He worked at North American as an aircraft technician then retired from Boeing with over thirty years of service. Ike and his wife, Ramona were proud to have built their own home following their retirement. Ike was a member of the Lancaster Church of the United Brethren. He enjoyed working on antique clocks and watches. Although a private man, he was a God loving, free spirited and non-judgemental man. He loved nature and time spent fishing.
He is survived by his children, Art (Betsy) Dickson, of Lancaster and Mary Maurer, of Cave Creek, AZ; grandchildren, Kyle (Liz) Maurer, of Glendale, AZ and Sharon Marie (partner, David Kuhn) Maurer, of Yuma, AZ; great grandson, Nathan Maurer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona (Reynolds) Dickson; great granddaughter, Noel Mary Catherine Maurer; his sister, Elsie Marie Bookman; and his brothers, Paul and Carl Dickson.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 351 Coonpath Rd. NE, Lancaster, with Pastor Greg Voight officiating.
Friends may make memorial contributions to the Lancaster Church of the United Brethren, 1125 Pleasantville Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130.
