Arthur Lynn Goodall, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Carol Ann Goodall; cherished son of the late Arthur Summerville Goodall and the late Euneva Taylor Knoll; devoted father of Gregory Taylor (Renee) Goodall, Jacquelyn Goodall, the late Ann Denise Goodall, and the late Cheryl Ann Goodall; loving grandfather of Taylor Goodall and Kent (Paige) Goodall; treasured great grandfather of Rylie Goodall.

After earning a degree in Civil Engineering in 1950 from Washington University Art proudly and honorably served in the United States Army, retiring as a Colonel after serving as a wartime veteran in both the Korean War and Viet Nam War. Following his military career, he worked at McDonnell Douglas Automation Company (McAuto) as a member of the groundbreaking telecommunications team pioneering in computers used for engineering design and analysis.

Goodall maintained a lifelong passion for innovative technology, always keeping up with the latest gadgets. He consulted with St. Charles County Emergency Management to upgrade their response system.

As an active St. Charles County Amateur Radio Club member, Art (W0KG) founded and developed the Rapid Response Team whose members are trained to deploy during emergencies providing communications that otherwise are out of service.

Arthur Goodall was a board member of Lindenwood University and recipient of Lindenwood’s Sibley Medal Of Honor.

Dedicated to giving back, Art also volunteered with Heartland Hospice, often visiting fellow veterans, and taught Sunday school at Dardenne Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Arthur's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
