Arthur G. Goulet, 87, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, in his home in Nashua, NH. He was born November 5, 1935, to parents Arthur J. and Katie M. (Carpenter) Goulet in Graniteville, VT. He was the husband of the late Judith A. (Cummings) Goulet. The were married in April of 1957 and enjoyed 51 years of marriage before Judith's passing in August of 2008.
Arthur proudly served his country during the Korean War in the Army and was discharged honorably in 1961.
Arthur enjoyed gardening and setting up his garden every year. He was known to play the lottery often and was generous with his winnings. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Besides Arthur's loving wife, he is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Roland and Herbert and their wives Lillian and Virginia, and his sister Catherine Lloyd, and her husband Carlton.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Goulet and wife Jackie of Oklahoma, Kevin Goulet of Nashua, NH, Jeffery Goulet of Henniker, NH, Shawn Goulet and his wife Melissa of Henniker, NH, and Wayne Goulet and his wife Jessica of Nashua, NH, 14 grandchildren, Jason Paul, Stephanie Marie, Sarah Ann, Shawn Patrick Jr., Shane Michael, Kyle Allen, Traci Lynn, Katrina Susann, Elizabeth Grace, Jeffery Scott II, Mercedes, Ryan Patrick, Robert Arthur, Judith, and Austin Joshua, several great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters, Linda Clark, Rita A. Maul, and Gail Kuiper.
SERVICES: A visitation will take place from 11-1 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm at the Davis Funeral Home. A procession will lead to the interment at St Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St, Nashua, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Arthur's loving name, may do so to Home Health and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, 03054.
