Arthur Lee "Art" Sharp Jr.

A Bloomfield resident, Mr. Arthur Lee "Art" Sharp, Jr., age 74, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at UofL Hospital at Jewish, in Louisville. He was born August 11, 1950, in Clark County, Kentucky to the late Arthur Lee and Juanita Griggs Sharp, Sr. Mr. Sharp was an employee of B.C.D Construction, loved being outdoors and was a Marine Corp. Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Sharp, and a sister, Barbara Brogle. He is survived by his wife Peggy Staton Sharp, two daughters, Shawna (Bryan) Hutchins and Morgan (Anthony) Ramey, both of Bardstown, three sisters, Wanda (Joe) Sampson of Michigan, Geneva Bryant of Berea, Kentucky, and Gloria (Bobby) Tyler of Winchester, Kentucky, 4 grandchildren Charity and Halee Hutchins and Alexous and Blake Ramey also survive. In honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen by the family. There will be no public visitation or services. The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
