I was shocked to see this on facebook.
I have alot of memories of Art and Sandy years ago at the drag strip in union Grove. Wisconsin.
I also see the message on here from Tony Christians sister. Both Art and Tony were a hoot to hang with at the grove.
Alot of fond memories have come back.
May Art rest in peace - God bless.

I am in shock to hear about this! I remember Art from his drag racing days and was friends with my Brother Tony. Condolences to his family and friends on this devastating loss.

Jim and I spent many summers with Art and Sandy at Hart Ranch in South Dakota. I don´t have many pictures unfortunately, but many, many fond memories. He was so generous and loved entertaining friends. He would ride his motorcycle through the Black Hills everyday for three weeks every year. The more that joined, the happier he was. Then he would clean every square inch of his bike every night while friends would stop by and visit. He had so much energy and enthusiasm for life. Art, buddy, we will miss you terribly. Ride high, our friend!

Art will be surely missed. Recently talked to him and he was so happy riding his snowmobile up north with his family members. Whether it was sleds or bikes he lived life to the fullest. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his entire family.
