It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ashlee Lyn Ertter, who left us peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 23. Ashlee was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend-cherished by many for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Ashlee brought light and joy into every life she touched. Though her time with us was far too short, she lived a life full of love, adventure, and meaning.
Ashlee is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Shirley Ertter, Dwain and Jeanne Green, and her uncle John Ertter Jr. She is survived by her loving parents, Steve and Courtney Ertter, her devoted brother Dylan, her uncles Glen Green and Brian Rupp, her aunt Tina Rupp, and her cousins Shea, Cody, Kegan, Eris, and Delaney.
A proud graduate of Peachtree Ridge High School, Class of 2020, Ashlee went on to attend Kennesaw State University, where she was pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice with passion and purpose. She loved to read, shared a deep bond with her brother Dylan over countless magical Disney trips, and was a woman of strong Catholic faith. A true animal lover, Ashlee adored her twin kitties, Rocket and Lyla, who brought her great comfort and joy.
Ashlee bravely fought a battle with Ewing Sarcoma, surrounded by the love of her family. Though cancer took her from us, her spirit remains unshakable. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she inspired with her courage, strength, and love.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Ashlee's life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in hopes of one day eradicating childhood cancer.
