To be more patient. I was not with you. I had a lot of anger in me and wanted to blame you for things that happened. Im sorry I didnt take the time to be a big brother and reassure you and communicate with you so you didnt feel so lost. I regret not having the patience to spend time with you, so Ive learned to be more patient, more compassionate. I'm glad that I learned to become better, I just wish it wasn't due to these circumstances. I have a lot of wrongs to right with Brad; I wish you were around so I could do so for you too.

Dear Ashley,
You were only 10 years old when I first met you. Not only you were a lovely girl, but you were also well mannered, thoughtful, kind, and sweet. For those 5 years of taking care of you, we waited for the bus together, I waited for you to get off the bus after school, made sure you did your homework, and practiced playing the piano. You would also give me cards for holidays and my birthday. Sometimes you would draw me a card when I was not in a good mood.
All those things left me with a lot of fond memories.
I was so shocked and so sad when I heard the news of your passing. You were so young, so vibrant, and so full of life.
Although I won't see you anymore, I will always remember you. It's a comfort knowing you are in a good place with your mother now. We will all miss you. Until we meet again, rest in peace.

I am so sad to learn of Ashley's passing. I was Ashley's 8th grade science teacher at Littleton Middle School, and I remember her as a lovely, hardworking, kind, and caring young woman. My heart goes out to Wesley, Bradley, and Ching-Kuo.
