Ashley Evans Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 14, 2024.
Ashley Christine Gee Evans passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico after a brave battle with kidney disease. She was born June 12, 1985, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Michael Gee and Christine Rawlins. Ashley was the youngest of six siblings and fondly referred to as 'Teeny' or 'Ashelina.' As a young girl, and even in her adulthood, she was happy as sunshine. But being the spitfire she was, she would definitely let you know if she wasn't. This is one of the many wonderful qualities of Ashley that we all loved so much. She was a friendly, funny, caring, creative daughter, sister, aunt, mother and wife.
Ashley married the love of her life, Andy, on June 3, 2010. They built a beautiful life together with their sons, Mason and Dylan. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She loved playing games with them, watching her boys play sports, and enjoying family holiday traditions. Besides spending time with family, Ashley found joy in live music, crafting, being in nature, eating Mediterranean food, and cuddling up with a good book. She was passionately pursuing a degree in the mental health field so she could help others. Ashley's compassion allowed her to thrive in this field. She's always made friends easily with her big heart and has many lifelong friends.
Ashley is survived by her devoted husband, Andy, and loving sons, Mason and Dylan, who will miss her dearly; father, Michael L. Gee; mother, Christine Rawlins (John Rawlins); sisters Amy Luther (Adam), Rebecca Gee, Stefani Gee, Lindsey Gee, 2 step sisters, Jennifer (Brandon) Kennard, Elizabeth (Brandon) Murray, 2 step brothers, Christopher Rawlins, and Jonnathan Rawlins. She left behind numerous nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles, as well as beloved in-laws, Bob and Lisa Evans, Robbie Evans (Anna), and Christina Mitchell (Mitch). Ashley was preceded in death by beloved grandparents, her cousins Justin and Ian, and her brother, Mikey. One love.
Funeral services will be held at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Millcreek, UT on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Viewing to be held from 12:00-12:45 p.m. with services starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of Ashley's favorite charities: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) https://supporting.afsp.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donate.event&eventID=1 or National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). https://www.nami.org/About-NAMI/Donate-to-NAMI Donations are also being collected on behalf of Andy and their sons on Go Fund Me.
Thank you Ashley
