Ashley Marie Rivet was born on August 3, 1987, and passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 37. She was a resident of Baton Rouge.
A Memorial Service for Ashley will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at Acacia Church, 10051 Siegen Ln., Baton Rouge, LA 70810.

Ashley is survived by her daughters, Rylee Rivet and her fiancée Ryan Smith (their soon to be son, Hudson Smith) and Adlee Kinney; Sons, Anthony Ekey and Harry Schwartz; Parents, John “JC” Rivet and Cynthia “Cindy” Rivet; Brothers, Jason Rivet and his wife Brandy Rivet and Jonathan Rivet and his fiancée Alicia Landreneau; Nieces, Kira Rivet, Mackenzie Rivet, Mia Rivet, Kinsley Garrison; Nephews, Trevor Rivet, Aiden Franovich and Colton Rivet; Great-niece, Isabelle Rivet; Aunt, Tanya Martello; Uncle, David Friedrichs, Roger Martin; and Cousins, Angela Martello, Ciera Martello, Shannon Barnes, Jodi Suggs, Stacy Green, Mike Furlow and Chris Furlow.
She is preceded in death by the Love of her Life, Richard “Rickey” Kinney; Childhood Best friend, Reagan Rowe; Maternal Grandparents, Fred Friedrichs and Jean Friedrichs; Paternal Grandparents, Allen Rivet and Violet Bryant; Uncle, Paul Friedrichs and Uncle, Allen Rivet Jr.; Aunt, Mary Furlow and Aunt Anna Martin.
Ashely was avid about helping people and proving service work through her career and community. She loved playing softball and always had a passion for clothes, shoes and fashion. Ashley enjoyed giving her time and did that throughout the years to the recovery community. She had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Like all Louisiana women, Ashley loved food, especially sushi, donuts and cheesecake. Most of all Ashley loved her family and friends.
