Ashley Robbins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hightower's Memorial Chapel - Douglasville on Jan. 28, 2026.
Ashley Clay Robbins, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2026. He will be profoundly missed by his family and by everyone who knew and loved him.

Ashley was a devoted husband and an extraordinary father. He was married to his wife, Julie, for 17 years, and together they built a life centered around their two daughters, Kendall and Bree. His wife and daughters were his world, and everything he did reflected his deep love and unwavering commitment to his family.

Ashley proudly served our country as a soldier in the United States Army for five years, including two tours of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a true patriot who loved his country, and his sense of service, duty, and integrity shaped every chapter of his life.

Following his military service, Ashley built a meaningful career rooted in hard work, responsibility, and service to others, ultimately becoming a respected business owner known for his unwavering integrity. He was a man of faith and a member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville.

Ashley was the son of Elizabeth Culpepper Gray (Lat Gray) and Charles Robbins. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Julie; his daughters, Kendall Joy and Bree Elizabeth; his brother, Jason Robbins (Lindsey); his sister, Jennifer Costa (Mason); his stepsister, Kate Carter (Shane); and his nieces and nephews: Ashley Hasrati (Bobby); Micah, Lily, Shepherd, and Eden Robbins; and Harvey Costa.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Robbins, and his grandparents, Earl and Eva Robbins and Wilbur Clay and Carolyn Culpepper.

Ashley was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Those who knew him will remember him for his kindness and strength. He had a steady presence and a generous heart, and he showed up for the people he loved without hesitation. Though his passing was sudden, the love he gave so freely endures.

The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery.
