Audrey D. Jordan, 69, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:27 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Miller's Merry Manor in Hope.
Audrey was born October 25, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Mary Calbert Lee. On May 20, 1978, she married Timothy L. Jordan.
Mrs. Jordan was an avid Purdue fan and liked learning about different types of flowers. She loved cats and was known as "the cat" lady to friends and family. Audrey found it relaxing to keep her own large flower garden up and thriving. Working with crafts and making collages was one of her favorite things to do. Audrey liked abstract paintings but traveling was something she really looked forward to. She traveled to the Bahamas, Canada and around most of the United States. She will be deeply missed by those that know and love her.
Survivors include her daughter, Erin Jordan of Columbus; grandson, Alexander Lee McBride; sisters, Mary (Mike) Reinhardt of Plainfield, Ellen Adams of Oklahoma, Nancy Lee of Mishawaka; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Timothy; brother, Chuck Lee and sister, Debbie Condrey.
In keeping with the family's request, cremation will take place and a memorial service honoring Audrey's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, Indiana at a later date.
