Audrey Richoux Obituary
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Friday, January 12, 2024, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.
Audrey is survived by her loving companion of 27 years, Aubry Richard; son, Fred "Tommy" Richoux, Jr.; daughters, Becky Lee, Liz Sanamo (Warren Jr.), and Cheryl Gauthreaux (Jacob); stepdaughters, Monica Hebert (Paul), and Rachel Richard; sister, Joyce Savoie (Bobby, Sr.); grandchildren, Benji Richoux (Laura), Kristy Richoux (Douglas), Linzi Richoux, Heather Duet, Nicholas Lee, Matthew Lee, Trent Sanamo (Chasity), Ben Sanamo (Brittany), Dustin Faucheux (Melissa), Jensen Faucheux (Jay), and Caitlyn Faucheux; great-grandchildren, Heidi and Peyton Richoux, Tre' Sellers, Harley Lee, Karson, Karter, Jake and Mia Sanamo, and Beckett Guidroz; and step-grandchildren, Justin Rivere (Amanda), Jacie Rivere (Ross), and Maison Rivere and their families.
Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Fred Thomas Richoux, Sr.; parents, Alcide Joseph Melancon and Angelle Bourgeois Melancon Duet; brothers, Herbert Melancon and Steven Melancon (Elois); sister, Deanna Faulk (Bob); great-grandchildren, Dylan Bruce and Kamryn Sanamo; and step-grandchild, Matthew Rivere.
Audrey loved cooking and spending time with her family. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, smocking, playing cards, shopping, eating out, and dancing. She looked forward to her annual mother/daughter trips.
