August "Gus" Henning Obituary
August Joseph Henning, 50, of Kaufman, TX passed away on May 22, 2022, in Dallas. Gus, as most knew him, was born on September 28, 1971, to Paul and Maxine Henning in Garland, TX. He was raised in Kaufman and graduated from Kaufman High School. Gus worked for Trinity Valley Community College for 20 plus years in the maintenance department. He enjoyed camping and being in the boy scouts as a kid. Gus participated in scouting activities as an assistant Scoutmaster even when he was older. He loved taking care of his 2 dogs at home. He was a beloved Son, Brother and Uncle. Those left to cherish his memory are parents Paul and Maxine, siblings: Kevin Henning and wife Rose, Sharon (Henning) Richter and husband Greg and Brian Henning and Marta Wilson; niece Ali Richter, nephews: Christopher Henning, Chase Henning and Nick Richter and wife Hanna, step niece Melissa Potak, step nephew Daniel Potak and wife Ashley and numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
