Austin Frederick Trippensee

Austin Frederick Trippensee, 55, entered into the eternal kingdom of the Most High God, to live forever in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 13, 2024 in Lake Placid, Florida

Austin and his twin brother Arvin were born on October 5, 1969, in North Miami, Florida.

Austin was a devoted son to Patricia Mixon and Frederick Trippensee, and a loving brother to Aaron and Arvin. He was a cherished father to Bonnie and Alex. He was very much loved and respected by his cousins, nieces and nephews.

Austin went to school in Sebring from elementary school through high school. He worked his way through Boy Scouts to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Sebring High School in 1987 and went on to earn an Associate of Arts from South Florida Community College, followed by both a Bachelors and a Masters degree from the University of Florida. He served honorably as an electronics technician in the US Naval Reserves for six years, where his skills and dedication were highly valued.

Professionally, Austin was respected in the field of software engineering, having worked for Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and later Oracle, specializing in large data processing. His career was marked by a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Beyond his professional and military life, Austin was skilled in woodworking and machining parts, hobbies that allowed him to express his meticulous and creative nature.

Austin was an avid bicyclist. He enjoyed participating in ride events to raise money for several nonprofit organizations, one such bicycle event was TOUR de CURE, a nationwide event to raise funds for American Diabetes Association. 

A service to honor Austin's life will be held at Morris Funeral Chapel in Sebring, Florida, on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by the service at 3:00 pm. Donations in memory of Austin can be made in Austin's name to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org or the Glioblastoma Foundation, www.glioblastomafoundation.org. His memory will forever be held dear by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
