Autumn T. Tambasco, 46, died peacefully February 27, 2025, after a long illness.
She was born October 31, 1978 in Albany, NY to Walter and Thomasina Tambasco.
Autumn was an exceptional woman, strong and free-spirited.
She and her partner Jacob VanZutphen own Dogs of Greenville where she had many loyal clients.
She worked in the dog grooming business for over twenty years and loved ALL the dogs.
Autumn graduated from Voorheesville High School, Hudson Valley Community College, and the University at Albany NY.
She was the devoted mother of two amazing children, Noah, 13, and Max, 10, who love her so much.
She was always there for school activities and special fun times. They were the center of her life.
Mommy was the "Best Mom Ever".
Jacob, her partner of 29 years, is the love of her life and their love is felt by all who know them.
Autumn is a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law and friend, to name only a few.
She loved family get togethers, planning theme parties and traveling to concerts, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival
and Saranac Lake Winter Carnival.
Autumn was predeceased by her father Walter A. Tambasco.
She is survived by her loved partner Jacob D. VanZutphen; wonderful sons Noah Jacob and Max Abram VanZutphen; her mother
Thomasina (Tina) Moran Tambasco, Voorheesville, NY; her siblings Jennifer (Jim) Smith, Voorheesville, NY; Beth (Andy) Ruiz,
Delmar, NY; Walter A. (Kassi) Tambasco, Jr.,Altamont, NY, and many special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Warm appreciation to friend Erin Nickel whose knowledge, care and love made the journey less stressful.
All who knew Autumn will miss her deeply and be grateful for the time and memories we had with her.

Autumn was an exceptional person. She took such loving care of my Jilly for most of her life. I followed her from PetSmart to Shawna's & would have followed her to Greenville but Jilly couldn't tolerate long car rides. When I think of Autumn, I remember a kind, loving & gentle spirit who gave without expectation. I morn her with her Family , Jacob, Noah & Max. May her spirit live on inside you. My sincerest condolences for a lovely soul lost too soon.

Sending my sincere condolences to Jacob and your boys. My heart just broke, I am crying like a baby!!! Autumn is the only who Princess would allow to from her, and Autumn took great care of Princess for 13 years. She just turned 14 and we will continue to take the drive from Albany to go to Dogs of Greenville for her grooming. Autumn will truly be missed by Princess and myself.

Saddened and heartbroken for Autumn´s loved ones. I´m grateful for the little I got to know of her from the grooming salon. Her kind smile and energetic personality were something I looked forward to when dropping Molly off for some pampering. She created a comfortable inviting environment,,, a business based on love. Autumn was patient and compassionate and showed sincere love for all the pups that came her way, putting them first. Fly high and see how loved and missed you are

So sorry to hear Autumn has pasted. She was such a kind and fun person. I will cherish the memories of the days of our youth working at Tollgate and our camping trip. She was an amazing groomer . I loved crossing paths with her again in life at pet smart. I am deeply saddened by this news and praying for her family.
