Barbara Aaron Obituary
Our mother went to be with the angels on Friday, April 5, 2024. A visitation will be held at Fry-Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 10am-12pm. A memorial service will be held the same day at 1:30pm at Fry-Smith Funeral Home followed by a burial in Tuscola Cemetery.
Born on July 10, 1926 in Abilene, Texas, Barbara was a long time cashier at Gibson's Discount, TG&Y, and Mackeys Sporting Goods. She also spent time as a hairdresser.
Barbara is survived by sons Steve Lawson and wife Sandra of Colorado City, Texas, Bill Lawson and wife Kate of Jarrell, Texas, Doug Lawson and wife Ramona of Abilene, Texas, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters Nell Martin and husband Doyle of Pilot Point, Texas and Sandy Panpen of Sweetwater, Texas, nieces Kim Alvarez and husband Santos of Sweetwater, Texas and Kathy Erekson of Dripping Springs, Texas.
Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. We are comforted knowing she is in the loving arms of Jesus and was welcomed into heaven by her Grandmother, Granddad, and Aunt Thelma.
