Barbara A. Bagnoli, 76 of Canton, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024. Born in Alliance, Ohio, on December 19, 1947 she was the beloved daughter of the late Arlie and Margaret (Rouse) Barker. A proud graduate of Marlington High School, Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a compassionate nurse's aide at Alliance City Hospital and later at St. Luke Lutheran Community.
Barbara was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish and the United Fossaltese Club. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-her fondness for westerns was only rivaled by her love for the horses she once owned, stories of which she shared with great enthusiasm. Above all, Barbara cherished her family, holding them close to her heart throughout her life.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Barker, Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her devoted husband, Giovanni Bagnoli, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this September. Barbara is also survived by her loving children, Nicola (Kelly) Bagnoli and Matthew (Katie) Bagnoli, and her adored grandchildren Giovanni, Noelle, Leo, and Vincent; and siblings Arlie Barker III and Kathy (Ray) Pfaff.
Barbara's gentle spirit and unwavering love will forever be remembered by those who knew her and were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Little Flower Catholic Parish on Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by entombment at North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
