Barbara Baiza passed away peacefully on the 20th of August 2025, at her home in Toms River, NJ. Her family is deeply saddened and heartbroken by her unexpected passing.
Barbara is survived by her loving and dedicated husband Edward of 46 years and her children Louis and wife Monica, Laura and husband Chris, and Daniel and wife Jennifer. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her six grandchildren, Emily and husband Michael, Christopher, Grace, Julie, Daniel and Louis and two great grandchildren Kash & Kali. Barbara was also adored and appreciated by her many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was predeceased by her father and mother, Owen and Marie Sullivan, her brothers and sisters Dan, Mickey, Eleanor, Cassie, Richie and Owen along with Barbara's father-in-law and mother-in-law John & Audrey Baiza.
Marriage brought Barbara love and partnership in the form of her devoted husband, Edward. Together, they celebrated 46 joyous years, a testament to their deep connection and mutual support. Their lives were further blessed by their large family, with whom Barbara shared her gentle spirit and unending support. She was the heart of her family, fostering an environment where every member felt loved and valued.
Barbara was a meticulous and dependable bookkeeper working for N.S. Behr of Hillside and Rummel Industries in Union. She was greatly appreciated and respected by her colleagues. Her warmth and ready smile would brighten even the most challenging days. She retired from Rummel Industries in 2015.
She loved summer weekends at the shore house on the boat, was an avid reader, maintained long devoted friendships and spent every Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family. After moving to Greenbriar Woodlands in Toms River she took up golf, bocce ball, bingo and playing cards with the neighbors.
Barbara has left us an incredible example of a life well-lived, marked by love, dedication, and genuine kindness. As we bid her farewell, we celebrate a life that has touched so many and will continue to inspire for generations to come. Barbara's memory will be cherished and her legacy celebrated, as the world was undeniably a better place for having had her in it.
