Barbara J. "Bobbi" Fox, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home on July 3, 2025.
She was born September 24, 1961, to the late Wayne and Sheila (Hendricks) Dodge in Callaway, NE. Bobbi graduated from Aurora High School in Aurora, Nebraska and then attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Bobbi loved her family deeply, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, who were truly her everything. Her face lit up every time they entered the room, and she cherished every moment with them. She found peace in quiet walks at the lake with John and joy in simple drives with her dog, Blu. A loyal Husker fan through and through, she proudly cheered on Nebraska football (win or lose) and her spirit never wavering. She had a soft spot for the little things in life, especially a good Chestnut Praline Latte, almond joy or a twin bing or the thrill of finding a great deal. Whether it was a good discount or a coupon score, Bobbi knew how to make everyday moments feel special. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be missed beyond measure.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin.
Bobbi is survived by her husband of 36 years, John Fox; children, Jessica (Layne) LaRussa and John (Sarah) Fox; sister, Beth Medina; grandchildren, Malachi LaRussa, Brody Fox, and Baylor Fox; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 08, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
