Barbara A. Byczkiewicz

Barbara A. Byczkiewicz, 60, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025. Born in Hartford on July 4, 1964, the daughter of the late Jozef and Helen (Nowik) Byczkiewcz. Barbara attended local schools and was a 1982 graduate of Windsor High School.
Barbara worked as an administrative assistant for several companies and volunteered at the Windsor Historical Society. Barbara enjoyed Dancing with the Stars and listening to Donnie and Marie music, as well as Abba. She loved traveling and watching movies. She celebrated her milestone 50th birthday in Hawaii.
Barbara is survived by her beloved sister, Wanda L. Byczkiewicz and her husband Geoffrey W. Hodges, Sr. of Davenport, Florida, and many cousins and aunts. A special mention to her friend and companion, Wesley McDade II of West Hartford and friends, John Leavitt, Carl Passanissi, and Michael Coons and his wife Celine, Special girlfriends Donna and Sue as well as John and Sue Loura and Debbie Canales, cousin Janina Anderson, and Aunts Eugenia Nowik and Anna Nowik and her sister Donna Wujek.
A graveside service for Barbara A. Byczkiewicz will take place on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 1PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford, CT 06114.
