Barbara Ann Everett Chustz, 82 years old, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Sister, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on June 14, 1941, born to Lillie Marie Gant Everett and John Everett, Sr., in Kossuth, MS. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church in Zachary. She loved the Lord and was involved in Children's Ministry and her Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed working outside in the yard and being the best help mate to her husband.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Lloyd Chustz; daughters, Bridget Forbes (Roy), Sherrie Broussard (Kerry) and Angela Chustz; grandchildren, Mindy Delp, Eric Forbes, Kevin Forbes, Connor Parent, Brandon Broussard, and Tamara Tisdale; 13 great grandchildren; brother, William "Joey" Everett, Sr.; sister-in-law, Sandra Chustz (Charlotte); brother-in-law, Randy Chustz (Peggy); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her father, John Everett, Sr.; mother, Lillie Gant Everett; sister, Johnnie Marie Woodford; brothers, John Wesley Everett Jr., Charles Larry Everett, and Kenneth Frank Everett, Sr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Forbes, Eric Forbes, Billy Everett, Dennis Everett, Kerry Broussard, and Randy Chustz.
Because of her love for the Lord and the church, the family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Brian Morgan. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
