Barbara J. Coe, age 79, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon. She was born on July 17, 1946, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the daughter of John and Margaret (Blanchard) Kerin. Barb was a 1964 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and retired from Hi-Stat Manufacturing in Lexington, Ohio.
Barb was a previous member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Amvets Post #95, and Colonial City Moose Lodge. She loved being on the lake and spent many evenings and weekends boating, water skiing and relaxing at Apple Valley Lake. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Tiffani Williamson of Mount Vernon, Shaun Coe of Mount Vernon and Brandi Coe of Marion, five grandchildren, Jeffery Skyler Williamson, Bryce (Kelsey) Williamson, Makayla Williamson, Mackenna Coe and Kale Coe, five great grandchildren, and a sister, Rene Hutchison of Mount Vernon.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Joe Drabick and a half-sister, Sue Clemente.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. in Mound View Cemetery. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Barbara J. Coe.
