Barbara Ann Comeaux, 68, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, passed away on October 10, 2025, surrounded by her loves ones. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1956, in Broussard, Louisiana, Barbara was truly a gift to everyone who knew her. Barbara loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, taking trips to the casino, and never missed a good seafood boil - if there was one happening, you could count on her to be there. She loved playing cards with friends and family, cooking delicious meals, and baking treats that everyone looked forward to.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She always did her best to make it to every family gathering, bringing warmth, laughter, and her beautiful smile wherever she went. Her love for her family was endless, and she made everyone feel special and loved. The world is a little dimmer without her in it, but her spirit and love will live on in all who were blessed to have known her. "Love you to the moon and back."
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Brandon) Picard, and her son, Ryan (Kerri) Tauzin; her cherished grandchildren, Emma Capritto (Tyler), Chloe Picard, and Ripley Tauzin; her brothers, Larry (Shelly) Comeaux and Donald (Linda) Comeaux; sister, Gale (Mike) Larriviere; brother-in-law, Wayne Sonnier; sister-in-law, Barbara Comeaux; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston Comeaux and Hazel Bourque Comeaux; brothers, Allen Comeaux and Johnny Comeaux; sisters, Becky Sonnier and Cheryl Bourque; brother-in-law, Bradly Bourque; niece, Shannon Sonnier; and nephews, Shane Sonnier and Joshua Larriviere.
