Barbara Jean "Jeannie" DiBello Parrow of Hannibal, NY; passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 9th, 2025; surrounded by her children and husband.
Jeannie was a Hannibal, NY native. Later in life, she split her time between Hannibal, NY and Lecanto, FL., travelling with her favorite companions, her cats: Tigger, Blackjack, Missy and Daisy Mae. Jeannie lived a long and adventurous life, driving a school bus, riding her motorcycle to work and even winning Powder Puff Derbies, among other things. Jeannie was also one of the founding members of the Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue Team. She was a devoted animal lover, pet owner and animal rescue supporter. Jeannie loved and cherished each of her cats and the individual companionship she received throughout the years from each one.
Jeannie was predeceased by her beloved grandparents: Mary "Mama" and Orrin Cooper, her adored daddy Robert DiBello and her mother Eleanor (Albert) McEwen.
Jeannie is survived by her children, whom she loved beyond measure: Hubert Parrow Jr. of Hannibal, NY; Rebecca Smith of Oswego, NY; and Robert (Cathy) Parrow of Clopton, AL.; her grandchildren: Thomas (Becca) Smith, Michael (Kathy) Smith, and Carly (Josh) St. Germain; great grandchildren: Jordan Smith, Lily Jean Smith, Josh Smith, Paige Smith, Ian Smith and Mae Katherine St. Germain; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends. Mrs. Parrow is also survived by her husband of 70 years and father of her children: Hubert F. Parrow Sr., of Oswego, NY.
According to Jeannie's wishes there will be no Funeral Service, no Calling Hours.
A Celebration of Life and Burial in Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made in honor of Jeannie- to Paws Across Oswego County or Felines Under Rescue.
The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY has care of the arrangements.
