Barbara Ellis Domain

Barbara Ellis-Domain, 72, of Angleton, peacefully departed this life on Monday, April 10, 2025, at her residence. Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Gardner's Funeral Home, 507 W. Orange St., Angleton, Texas. The Celebration of her Life will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at FMBC Family Life Center, 523 North Parrish, Texas. Rev. J. Goston, will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow at Kelly Lake Cemetery. She completed her education at Marshall Elementary and Marshall Junior High before graduating from Angleton High School. During these formative years Barbara embraced her faith in Christ, becoming an active member of New Revelation Baptist Church. Additionally, she participated in Marshall Wright Education Association and the American Legion Auxiliary. In November 1973, Barbara married Robert Domain, and together they nurtured three children: Terry Ellis, Roderic O. Domain, and Robert J. Domain (Mia). Throughout their marriage, they also took on the roles of pastor and co-pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In her later years, she played a vital role in the lives of her goddaughter, Auriel Giles and her three grandchildren, Kaleigha, Joseph, and Tyler. She is survived by her three sons, three grandchildren, three brothers (Moses Ellis, Willie Ellis with Joyce, and James Ellis with Phyllis), four sisters (Velma Franklin, Ida Robinson, Norma Jean Ellis, and Brenda Giles), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers (Wallace Ellis and David Ellis.
