It is with great sorrow we announce that Barbara ("Bobbie") Dove Miller Weller who passed away peacefully on Aug. 11, 2024, at age 88. She lived in Sarasota, FL for 38 years, in Michigan for 21 years.
She was a San Francisco Bay Area native, and also lived overseas for 9 years.
She had been battling Parkinson's for some years before her death. She will be missed by all and touched the lives of many people who knew her.
She loved to clog, travel, learn and speak foreign languages, and was a very adventurous eater. She was an advocate of animal and human rights and causes.
Her positive spirit will be missed, and she was young at heart. She was a loving, caring, sweet, warm, and sincere person.
She is survived by her son Steve Weller, and her daughter, Kathryn Weller.
Bobbie has been put to rest next to her husband, Ed, at Sarasota National Cemetery.
Rest in Peace, Bobbie Weller, 1935-2024.

I clogged with Bobbie for a number of years. She was the sweetest lady. We had lots of good memories dancing with a team.
