-----------------Obituary for Barbara Irene GallimoreIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Irene Gallimore, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on September 11, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on November 18, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara was a proud welder and machinist, known for her tenacity and strong spirit. Living most of her life in Pleasant Plain, Ohio, Barbara was a beacon of warmth and kindness. She was fiercely devoted to her family, who will forever cherish her memory. Preceded in death by her parents and late husband of 42 years Douglas Burl Gallimore. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Charles Trusty and Ronald Trusty, along with her step children Ronnie (Rose) Gallimore, Vicky (Ron) Shepherd, and Jeff (Tina) Gallimore. The strength of her family shines through in her numerous grandchildren: Nicholas (Lani) Gallimore, Stephanie (Bret) Bartley, Tiffany Bertram, Anthony Bertram, Jeremy Bertram, Brandon (Theresa) Wilson, Shawna (Kyle) Thompson, Jessica (Josh) Powell, Zach (Brook) Trusty, and Hayden Trusty, and many great grandchildren. She was one of 15 children born to Charles & Georgia Witt: Denean, Bonnie, Robin, Sharon, Kim, Tammy, Leisa, David, Doug, Bobby and the late Charlene, Carol, Jerry & Mike. Barbara's family exemplified the love she instilled in them, and they will continue to honor her legacy.Barbara's warmth extended beyond her blood relations; she had a heart that embraced everyone she met. As they reminisce about her life, family and friends will remember her laughter, her stories, and the love she poured into every role she possessed. Visitation for Barbara will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on September 17, 2025, starting at 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. She will be laid to rest later that afternoon at 2:30 PM at the Blanchester Cemetery, located at 520 West Main Street, Blanchester, OH.In this time of remembrance, we invite all who knew and loved Barbara to join us as we celebrate a life well-lived.
