It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Blevins, age 77, who left us peacefully on August 20, 2025. Born on December 19, 1947, in the beautiful town of Bluefield, WV, Jerry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service to others.

Jerry dedicated many years of his life to the United States Postal Service, serving his community with a smile and a commitment to excellence. But beyond his work, Jerry was a proud veteran who served in the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his bravery and dedication. His time in the service was a source of pride for him, and he often shared stories that captured the camaraderie and spirit of those years.

Jerry was a loving husband to his cherished wife, Hazel Blevins. Together, they built a warm and supportive family that includes their sons Jerod Blevins; Phillip Tudor and daughters Tiffany Gross and Tina Lee; daughter in law Angel Tudor son in law Joe Gross and Jared Lee. He is also survived by his brother Rodney Blevins, sister-in-law Glenda Blevins, sister Belinda Haddix, and brother-in-law Bruce Haddix 18 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry's family was his world, and he created countless memories with each one of them that will carry on in their hearts.

We invite all who knew Jerry to join us for a funeral service on August 26, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen. Prior to this, there will be a visitation at the same location on August 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, giving friends and family a chance to gather and share stories, laughter, and tears in honor of a remarkable man.

Following the service, Jerry will be laid to rest at the Graceland Memorial Gardens located at 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH, at 11:30 AM.

Jerry Wayne Blevins was a man who gave so much to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. His spirit will live on in the love of his family and in the countless lives he touched throughout his journey.

Jerry was preceded in death by parents Jessie & Judith Blevins and brothers: Stanley Blevins, Jeffrey Blevins, Michael Blevins.
