Barbara Hedges Obituary

Soon after graduating from Iberia High School in 1952, Barbara went to work at Timken Roller Bearing. She met and married E. Franklin Hedges. Together, while working nights at Timken they put their full energy into their love of farming.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion. Through the years, Barb enjoyed cooking, especially Thanksgiving, spoiling her nieces and nephews, antiquing, farm sales, skiing, boating and spending time on their properties at Lake Erie and Lake Placid, Florida.
In 2011, Barbara retired after over 58 years of service to Timken Roller Bearing.
Barbara is survived by sisters, Janet (Wilcox) Timmins and Nancy (Bower) Reese; brothers, Joseph M. (JoAnn) Wilcox, Jr., John Bower and Lowell (Norma) Bower.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hedges; her sister, Carole (Wilcox) Kemle; her parents, Hazel M. (Herbert) Bower and Joseph M. Wilcox, Sr. and brothers-in-law, John H. Reese and Dr. Sherman A. Timmins.
