Barbara J. Hubanks, 76, of Pine Bluff, loved to read books and spend time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
Barbara Eheman was born on August 3, 1948, in West Helena, daughter of Joseph Edward Eheman and Alma Ruth Pierce Eheman Ross.
She was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff.
Barbara stayed home raising her kids for many years before working 35 years as a bookkeeper, retiring from B&S Bookkeeping and Tax Service.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Hubanks; brother, Bobby Eheman; and sister, Helen Watts.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Bice (Mike Richey); son, Lance Poore (Jennifer); two stepsons, Joel Hubanks (Sandra) and John Hubanks (Shea); sister, Carolyn Harness (Ray); grandchildren, Sara Hedden, Keith Bice, Julianna Williamson, Tera Poore and Talon Poore (Tera); five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Sandra Davison.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Brother Paul Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Robinson's.
