Jimmy Dale Hubanks, son of the late Marcus Purd and Allie Belle Barns Hubanks, was born on March 15, 1953 in Selmer, TN.
Throughout his life, Jimmy Dale Hubanks gained a considerable reputation as a highly skilled and sought-after painter in both residential and commercial settings. He approached his work with unwavering dedication and took immense pride in every project he undertook.
Jimmy Dale had a multitude of passions. He had a deep love for exploring the outdoors and was an avid arrowhead hunter. He enjoyed the friendly competition of shooting pool and frequently participated in tournaments. Playing the guitar brought him joy and allowed him to share his musical talent with others. As a collector of valuables, he took pleasure in discovering hidden treasures. Furthermore, he cherished spending time with his siblings and cousins while playing dominos. Jimmy Dale Hubanks also found solace in taking leisurely walks.
Above all else, Jimmy Dale Hubanks held immense pride in his children and grandchildren. Their happiness and achievements were a testament to the love and support he provided throughout their lives.
On November 2, 2023, at the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 18 days, Mr. Hubanks peacefully departed this life in Corinth, Mississippi. He is survived by two daughters: Wendy Mechelle Nance and her husband Kevin of Ramer, TN, Bridgett Leeand her husband Stephen of Counce, TN; a son, James Dale Hubanks and his wife Sherri of Tupelo, MS; a brother, Kenneth Hubanks and his wife Janice of Shiloh, TN; a sister, Brenda Kiddy of Savannah, TN; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hubanks was preceded in death by his daughter Angela Dawn Cart, a great-grandchild, EmmaLyn Rinks; his sister Peggy Brown, and five brothers: Jerry Hubanks, Bobby Brown, Charlie Brown, Vernon Hubanks, and Larry Brown.
