ADRIAN-Barbara Jean Jones, age 86 of Adrian, entered into her Heavenly home on June 25, 2024, at the Hospice of Lenawee home. She was born August 26, 1937, to Arthur and Doris (Lindsay) Harsh. On August 3, 1957, she married Sidney Jones, before Reverend Taylor at the First Baptist Church in Adrian. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara was a member of the West Adrian Community Church.
Barbara is survived by her children, Lindsey (Dawn), Lesley (Kim), Leon (Linda) and Lissa (Todd) Bechler; six grandchildren, Patrick (Erin), Samantha, Anthony, Alec (Grace), Austin (Hadley) and Ryan; step-grandchild, Derek(Lydia) and three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Greyson, and Garrison; and five step-great-grandchildren, Lane, Lexi, Brittany, Kaley and Garrett; a brother, Thomas Harsh; two sisters, Juanita Snell and Barbara's twin, Beverly Henshaw; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Sidney, she was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Wayne, Donald, Gerald and Norman Harsh; a sister, Mina Dunham and step Grandchild Michelle.
Memorial services for Barbara will be held on July 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at the West Adrian Community Church with Pastor Matt Carlton officiating. Interment will be in West Adrian Cemetery.
